"Om Saieshwaraya Vidmahe Sathya Devaya Dheemahi Thanna Sarva Prachodayath"
The great Vedic Scholar Pandit Sri.Ghandikota Subrahmanya Shastry was inspired to announce Sri Sathya Sai Gayatri.
"Sadhana is any act of Karma which is aimed at the realisation of the Divine within"
Spirituality: The Bhagavad Githa says “Sradhavan Labhathe Njanam”, this means that only a Sadhaka seeking this truth with earnestness and perseverance can achieve the ultimate Wisdom. The Journey towards Causeless Happiness, Eternal Bliss. The very purpose of Human life on this earth is to realize the ultimate within and to merge in that Supreme.
Bhagawan Sree Sathya Sai Baba says: “You have come from God, you are a spark of His Glory; you are a wave of that Ocean of Bliss; you will get peace only when you again merge in Him.”
Sanathana Dharma and Scriptures: "Sanatana" is a Sanskrit word that denotes which is Anadi (beginingless), Anantha (endless) and does not cease to be, that which is eternal and everlasting. Dharma is from dhri, meaning to hold together, to sustain. Its approximate meaning is "Natural Law," or those principles of reality which are inherent in the very nature and design of the universe. Thus the term Sanatana Dharma can be roughly translated to mean "The natural, ancient and eternal way." Sanathana Dharma teaches the Human being the ways of life which can lead to the ultimate goal of life , Moksha. The Vedas, Bhagavad Githa, Brahma Sutra , Upanishads and Puranas of ancient Bharath are all meant to guide the Human being through the righteous path to the eternal truth, the divine.
Moksha-The Ultimate Aim of Human Life: The meaning of Moksha is nothing but Eternal happiness , Bliss or Ananda. Jagad Guru Sree Adi Sankaracharya in his glorious poetic work ‘Vivekachudamani’ says that three things which are rare indeed and are due to the grace of God –namely, a human birth, the longing for Liberation, and the protecting care of a perfected Sage.Human birth is considered to be so rare and precious because humans have the unique opportunity to affect their existence through conscious choice. It is only in the human life form that one binds karmas. In other life forms, one only experiences the effects of karmas bound in human life. Human being by virtue of its bad karmas can go to lower life forms and by the conscious choice of karma, it can achieve higher life forms or can attain enlightenment or Moksha, that is liberation from the miserable cycle of births and deaths. Only humans can attain Moksha, which is the key importance of Human birth on earth, an opportunity that even the Devas dream of.
